Our group of 5 adults and an infant decided to give this waterpark a try one evening. Arrived at 3:30 and paid for our evening passes. Unfortunately we forgot to look at the weather report as a storm hit one half hour later. My daughter and her husband were getting the baby settled so my son in law only was able to take two slides and my daughter was cut off at the queuing area with tube in hand as the first thunder was heard in the distance. Her ticket consisted of sitting for two hours and never even getting her feet wet. We waited until 5:30 hoping for the slide to reopen but much to the glee of the workers, they kept hearing distant thunder and extending the 30 minute wait time. Also we were never given any updates the entire time we were waiting. Interesting that they were monitoring the weather very closely however did not mention as they swiped my card that there was an approaching storm. I asked the slide manager about a possible rain check considering we barely arrived but was told she had no authority to make a decision. I called the owner/manager and stated that I wasn't expecting a refund but perhaps a discount if our party returned later in the week. I was not even granted the courtesy of a return call. Very poor customer service as we would have been happy if they would have perhaps suggested discounted tickets if we returned on another day. They obviously prefer to "take the money and run" and do not care in the least about customer satisfaction and return visits. Since my request was directed to the owner/manager of the entire resort I would assume you will receive the same treatment throughout the resort. Considering the park only consists of a few slides and sprinklers and topped off with poor customer service I would avoid stopping here.
Loved it. Great place for a family with multiple age ranges. My 16yo and 6yo had a great time. Worth the 2 hour drive. Shaded, exciting slides, low key kiddie stuff, swimming pool. Just wish they would take pics and sale them, like at amusement parks ;)
At a campground water park, it was perfect for us. My kids loved it. I love the simplicity of it, and that I could keep an eye on my kids each time they went down a slide, as they're all sourced from the same general location. Perhaps it was just the day that we went, but we didn't have any lines- and when there were, they moved quickly! My daughter even said that the Whitewater Slide was her favorite Slide of ALL the slides she's ever been on because it was so "different"- and a way to "be social on a waterslide"!
Total of 4 slides, a small pool and a kiddie water sprinkler area. Nice park for a few hours...not enough there to keep kids entertained for much longer than that. Small concession stand. Not allowed food or cooler inside park but they have a picnic area outside of park to eat at if you leave picnic stuff in car. Recommend going on Monday...can get 6 people in for $55.
Fun place for small kids, there's a pool 5ft at its deepest, two places for small kids/tots. There are 4 slides. A fun place to spend a few hours.
